Pastor Parks' journey of faith began when he accepted Christ as his Savior at Calvary Bible Baptist Church. Not long after, he felt God's call to preach, which set him on the path to ministry.
In the late 1980s, Pastor Parks moved from Louisiana to Beavercreek, Ohio, to attend Charity Baptist Institute, where he met his wife, Vickey. They were married the following year and have since been blessed with two children, a 3-year-old and a newborn granddaughter.
For several years, Pastor Parks and Miss Vickey traveled in full-time evangelism, sharing the gospel across the United States as well as Mexico & the Philippines. Beginning in 2001, he served under Pastor Craig Lovell at Liberty Baptist Church until Pastor Lovell’s passing. From there, God called Pastor Parks to found Highway Baptist Church, which later relocated to Beavercreek and became Good News Baptist Church.
Pastor Parks is dedicated to helping people grow in their faith and understanding of the Scriptures. He has a passion for seeing lives changed through the gospel and strengthening believers in their walk with Christ. His leadership focuses on fostering unity and spiritual growth within the church, always pointing the congregation toward Jesus Christ and the King James Bible.
