Our Goal is Simple:
1. To Exalt the Saviour:
Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders (Psa 107:32 KJV) Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.(Psa 118:28 KJV)
2. To Edify the Saint:
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: (Eph 4:12 KJV) Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. (Eph 4:29 KJV)
3. To Evangelize the Sinner:
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10 KJV) For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. (Luke 9:56 KJV). Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. (Mat 21:31-32 KJV).
4. To Expound the Scriptures:
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness (Rom 4:3 KJV) So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. (Neh 8:8 KJV) (But I will show thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth… Dan 10:21 KJV) That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee? (Prov 22:21 KJV) Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Tim 2:15 KJV)
5. To Equip the Soldier:
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. (2 Tim 2:3-4 KJV)
6. To Empower the Servant:
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8 KJV)
7. To Establish His Sanctuary:
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Mat 16:18 KJV) And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. (1 Cor 10:4 KJV) Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. (Psa 127:1 KJV)
8. To Expose the Serpent:
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.(2 Cor 2:11 KJV) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (2 Cor 11:3-4) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2 Cor 11:13-15). And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, (Rev 12:11-12 KJV) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Rev 20:10 KJV) To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (Acts 26:18 KJV)
9. To Expect the Second Coming of Jesus Christ 1Th 4:16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
